To better support regional flights with shorter flying hours, 6-hr, 12-hr and 18-hr forecast "Upper Wind and Temperature Charts" are now made available on the Aviation Meteorological Information Dissemination System (AMIDS) in addition to the existing 24-hr forecast charts. With the availability of new charts, airlines can select the most appropriate and up-to-date charts to suit their flights. |
