The winter monsoon will strengthen gradually and bring cold weather to southern China in the next few days.

Fine and dry. Rather cool in the morning with a minimum temperature of about 13 degrees in the urban areas and a few degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 17 degrees during the day. Moderate to fresh northerly winds.

Outlook : Cold weather persisting into midweek next week with morning temperatures falling to around 10 degrees.
