The
ridge of high pressure over southeastern China is bringing mainly
fine weather to the region. Meanwhile,
showers are affecting the northwestern part of the South China Sea.
At 8 p.m., Tropical Storm Sanvu was centred about 900 kilometres south of Iwo Jima. It is forecast to move northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour in the general direction of the seas south of Japan.
Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow
Mainly cloudy overnight. Sunny periods tomorrow with one or two showers later. Temperatures will range between 25 and 29 degrees. Moderate to fresh easterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground at first.
Outlook : Becoming more showery towards the weekend.
