An intense winter monsoon continues to bring cold and dry weather to southern China. Locally, the minimum temperature recorded at the Observatory this morning was 9.4 degrees, the lowest so far this winter.

Fine and very dry. It will be cold. Fresh northerly winds, occasionally strong over offshore waters and on high ground.
Outlook : Cold and dry weather will persist into midweek next week.
