An intense winter monsoon continues to bring cold and dry weather to southern China. Locally, temperatures fell to about 10 degrees in the urban areas and even only 8 to 9 degrees over the New Territories this morning.

Fine and dry. Cold in the morning. The maximum temperature will be around 16 degrees. Fresh to strong northerly winds.

Outlook : Cold weather persisting into midweek next week with morning temperatures at around 10 degrees.
