A cold front is affecting the northern part of the South China Sea. The intense winter monsoon behind the front brings appreciably cooler weather to southern China.

It will be cool with one or two rain patches at first. Sunny periods during the day. Temperatures will range between 13 and 21 degrees. Fresh northerly winds, strong over offshore waters and on high ground.

Outlook : Cold during the weekend. Temperatures will fall to around 11 degrees.
