A dry northeast monsoon persisted over southern China yesterday. Locally, it was cool yesterday morning with temperatures in the urban areas fell to around 17 degrees. Temperatures generally dropped below 15 degrees over the northern part of the New Territories. It was sunny and dry in the afternoon with relative humidity fell below 50 per cent over most parts of the territory. The northeast monsoon is expected to moderate gradually in the next few days.

Cloudy in the morning. Mainly fine during the day. It will be dry. The minimum temperature will be about 19 degrees in the urban areas and a few degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 24 degrees. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, occasionally fresh over offshore waters.

Outlook : Cloudy with a few rain patches in the following few days.
