The northeast monsoon brought cool and dry weather to the south China coastal areas yesterday. Locally, temperatures over the territory yesterday morning were generally 2 to 3 degrees lower than those of the day before. The relatively humidity over most parts of the territory fell below 50 percent in the afternoon. The northeast monsoon will moderate gradually in the latter part of the week.

Fine and dry. Cool in the morning with a minimum temperature of about 15 degrees in the urban areas and two to three degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 21 degrees during the day. Fresh north to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong over offshore waters and on high ground.
