The northeast monsoon persisted over southern China yesterday. Locally, it was cool yesterday morning. The minimum temperature recorded at the Observatory was 15.2 degrees, the lowest so far this autumn. It was sunny and dry during the day. The relative humidity over most parts of the territory fell below 50 percent in the afternoon. The northeast monsoon is expected to moderate gradually in the next few days.

Fine and dry. Cool in the morning. The minimum temperature in the urban areas will be about 16 degrees. It will be a few degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 22 degrees. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, occasionally fresh over offshore waters.
