A
ridge of high pressure is bringing mainly
fine weather to southeastern China. Meanwhile,
showers associated with a
trough of low pressure are affecting the northern part of the South China Sea.
At 8 p.m., Severe Tropical Storm Sanvu was centred about 550 kilometres south-southwest of Iwo Jima. It is forecast to move north at about 12 kilometres per hour in the general direction of the seas south of Japan.
Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow
It will be cloudy. A few showers tomorrow morning. The minimum temperature will be about 25 degrees. Sunny intervals in the afternoon with a maximum temperature of around 29 degrees. Moderate to fresh easterly winds.
