Activities of "Science in the Public Service" Campaign in July

(1) Under the "Science in the Public Service" Campaign, a series of talks on popular science are organized throughout 2007. Details of the talk in July are as follows:

(1) Genetic Disorders: Scientific Basis, Diagnosis and Management

(2) The Hong Kong Observatory will organize a visit to the King's Park Meteorological Station on 28 July. Deadline for registration is 19 July 2007.
 
(3) The Campaign is also holding a student project competition. The theme is "Climate Change - What can we do?". Through activities including information collection, research and analysis, the competition aims at strengthening students' scientific thinking, critical reasoning and communication skills.
