"Science in the Public Service" Campaign
- Public Lectures

 

The "Science in the Public Service" Campaign is organizing a popular science lecture series from September 2009 to March 2010 at the Lecture Theatre of the Hong Kong Science Museum.  All are welcome.  Admission is free and seats will be allocated on first come first serve basis.  Details of the public lectures this Saturday are as follows:

Date:        28 November 2009, Saturday
Time:        2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

(1)                     2:30 p.m. - 3:10 p.m.

Topic: Organic farming techniques

Speaker: Mr. WONG Koon-wang, Agricultural Officer,                   Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department

 

(2)                    3:10 p.m. - 3:50 p.m.

Topic: How to tackle odour problems of Kai Tak Approach Channel?

Speaker: Mr. LEUNG Wing-yuen, Walter, Senior Engineer, Civil Engineering and Development Department

 

(3)                     3:50 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Topic: Drugs of abuse analysis in urine

Speaker: Mr. WONG Tai-wai, Chemist, Government Laboratory
