"Science in the Public Service" Campaign
- Public Lectures

 
The "Science in the Public Service" Campaign is organizing a popular science lecture series from September 2009 to March 2010 at the Lecture Theatre of the Hong Kong Science Museum.  All are welcome.  Admission is free and seats will be allocated on first come first serve basis.  Details of the public lectures this Saturday are as follows:

Topic: Environmental and Energy management in Water Supplies Department - an energy efficient pumping system

Speaker: Ms Virginia LEE, Fisheries Officer, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department
(3) 3:50-4:30pm
Topic: Application of genetic algorithm in pump scheduling for water supply
Speaker: Ir LAM Shing Tim, Engineer, Water Supplies Department
