It is expected to affect Hong Kong in the next couple of hours. Members of the public should be on the alert. A trough of low pressure will continue to affect Guangdong in the next couple of days (25 - 26 April). Showers will be heavier at times with squally thunderstorms in the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary. Members of the public should pay attention to the latest weather information disseminated by the Observatory before going to work or school. Candidates sitting for public examinations should allow sufficient travelling time. Hail may affect Hong Kong in the next couple of hours. Please be reminded that: The Thunderstorm Warning has been issued. It will remain effective until 1:00 a.m. tomorrow. Severe squally thunderstorms are expected to occur over Hong Kong.
