Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A fresh to strong easterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, a band of clouds is covering southern China. At 8 a.m., Severe Tropical Storm Kalmaegi was centred about 940 kilometres east-southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west at about 25 kilometres per hour in general direction of the central and southern parts of the Philippines and intensify gradually. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy. Bright periods during the day with a maximum temperature of around 26 degrees. One or two light rain patches at night. Moderate to fresh east to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground. Outlook : One or two light rain patches tomorrow. Slightly cooler on Wednesday morning, with sunny periods during the day. Windy towards the weekend.
