Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Showers and thunderstorms associated with upper-air disturbances are affecting the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary. Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with showers. Showers will be heavy at times with a few thunderstorms in the morning. The maximum temperature will be around 30 degrees during the day. Moderate easterly winds. Outlook : Still a few showers tomorrow. Winds freshening from the north at night. It will be slightly cooler in the morning in the following couple of days, with minimum temperature falling to around 24 degrees. Becoming fine and dry midweek next week.
