Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong
Observatory.

A dry northeast monsoon brought generally fine weather to
Guangdong today. The local weather was fine today and cool
in the morning. It was dry during the day with the relative
humidity over many places falling to around 40 per cent. The
monsoon is expected to persistently bring mainly fine
weather to Guangdong for the latter part of this week to
early next week. It will be warm during the day with
relatively large temperature difference between day and
night over the region.

Besides, the area of low pressure over the western North
Pacific intensified into a tropical depression this morning.
At 11 p.m., the tropical depression was centred about 1200
kilometres east-southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move
northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour, lingering over
the seas east of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Thursday, 15 Jan 2026)

Cloudy periods at first. The minimum temperature in the
morning will be about 17 degrees in the urban areas, and a
few degrees lower in the New Territories. Mainly fine and
dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 22
degrees. Visibility relatively low in some areas later.
Light to moderate east to northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Persistently mainly fine towards the weekend to
early next week. Warm during the day. Temperatures will fall
appreciably in the middle and latter parts of next week.
