Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Winds are weak and the weather is generally fine over the coast of Guangdong. The area of low pressure near Hainan Island is bringing unsettled weather to the region. At 8 a.m., Tropical Storm Kujira was centred about 340 kilometres north of Manila. It is forecast to move east-southeast at about 15 kilometres per hour across Luzon and weaken gradually. Meanwhile, Severe Typhoon Dolphin was centred about 600 kilometres east of Okinawa. It is forecast to move west at about 22 kilometres per hour across the seas south of Japan. Weather forecast for today It will be fine. Very hot during the day with a maximum temperature of around 33 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Light winds. Outlook : Mainly fine and persistently very hot in the next few days. Extremely hot in some areas tomorrow and over the weekend, apart from isolated showers.
