Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Areas of intense thundery showers associated with an active southerly airstream are affecting the coast of Guangdong. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Cloudy with heavy showers and squally thunderstorms. Showers will ease off later. Moderate to fresh southerly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground. Outlook : Windy with a few showers on Tuen Ng Festival. Sunny periods in the afternoon. Mainly fine apart from one or two showers over the weekend. Very hot early next week.
