Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. An anticyclone aloft is bringing generally fine weather over Guangdong. At 8 a.m., Typhoon Surigae was centred about 180 kilometres south of Okinawa. It is forecast to move northeast at about 15 kilometres per hour across the seas east of the Ryukyu Islands. Weather forecast for today Sunny. Very hot and dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 33 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Light to moderate southwesterly winds. Outlook : Mainly fine and very hot in the next couple of days. Becoming cloudier gradually with a few showers on the National Day and in the latter part of this week.
