Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. The outer subsiding air of Severe Typhoon Dolphin is bringing generally fine weather to Guangdong. At 8 a.m., Dolphin was centred about 270 kilometres east of Wenzhou. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 18 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of Zhejiang. Weather forecast for today Mainly fine. Extremely hot during the day with a maximum temperature of around 36 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Moderate west to northwesterly winds, occasionally fresh on high ground. Outlook : Extremely hot persistently tomorrow. Temperatures in some areas will reach 37 degrees or above. High temperature weather will continue midweek this week.
