Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A southerly airstream is affecting the coast of southern China. Meanwhile, showers associated with upper-air disturbances are affecting Guangdong. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms at first. The minimum temperature will be about 27 degrees. Hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 31 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Moderate southerly winds. Outlook : Hot with sunny periods over the weekend to Monday, but there will still be isolated showers.
