Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Winds are weak and the weather is mainly fine over the coast of Guangdong. Locally, it was hot in the afternoon with temperatures over many places rising to 30 degrees or above. As of 4 p.m., the maximum temperature recorded at the Observatory was 30.0 degrees, the highest so far this year. Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow Becoming cloudy overnight. One or two light rain patches tomorrow. Visibility relatively low in some areas in the morning. The minimum temperature will be about 22 degrees. Bright periods during the day with a maximum temperature of around 26 degrees. Light winds, becoming moderate east to southeasterlies tomorrow. Outlook : Warm during the day on Friday and Saturday. Relatively humid in the morning and at night. Hot with sunny periods and one or two showers early next week.
