Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A broad trough of low pressure is bringing thundery showers to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. At 5 a.m., the tropical depression near Luzon was centred about 270 kilometres northeast of Manila. It is forecast to move northwest slowly, lingering over the vicinity of Luzon. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and thunderstorms. Showers will be heavy at times at first. The maximum temperature will be around 28 degrees during the day. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh offshore at first. Outlook : There will still be showers and thunderstorms at first tomorrow. Sunny intervals in the following couple of days. Very hot in the latter part of this week.
