A broad trough of low pressure is bringing showers and thunderstorms to the coast of western Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure is covering the coast of southeastern China. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Mainly cloudy with a few showers and thunderstorms. Sunny intervals in the afternoon. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, fresh offshore, occasionally strong on high ground. Outlook : Windier with a few showers in the next couple of days. The weather will become unsettled towards the weekend.
