Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A broad trough of low pressure is bringing showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong. At 5 a.m., the tropical depression near Taiwan was centred about 1000 kilometres southwest of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move northeast at about 30 kilometres per hour across the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavier in some areas at first. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees during the day. Light to moderate south to southwesterly winds. Outlook : Occasional showers and squally thunderstorms in the next couple of days. Showers will be heavier in some areas and high temperature weather will be alleviated.
