Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. The subtropical ridge is covering southeastern China gradually. Meanwhile, showers are affecting the coast of Guangdong. Besides, the area of low pressure to the seas east of the Philippines is intensifying gradually. A tropical cyclone appears to be forming. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with a few showers. The minimum temperature will be about 27 degrees in the morning. Hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Moderate southerly winds. Outlook : Mainly fine and very hot in the following couple of days. It will be windier with squally showers and thunderstorms later on Saturday to Sunday. There will be swells.
