9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The area of low pressure over the central part of the South China Sea will develop slowly and move north to northeastwards. It will maintain a distance from the coast of Guangdong and move across the northeastern part of the South China Sea, in the general direction of the vicinity of Taiwan today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, under the influence of its associated subsiding air, winds will be weak and the weather will be extremely hot over Guangdong. High temperatures will also trigger showers. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to linger over the coast of southern China and the northern part of the South China Sea during the weekend to midweek next week. It will bring heavy showers and squally thunderstorms to the region. High temperature weather will be alleviated.
