9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An active southwest monsoon and upper-air disturbances will still continue to bring heavy showers and squally thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong tomorrow. With the southwest monsoon moderating and upper-air disturbances weakening, showers will ease off gradually over the coastal areas in the latter part of this week. Meanwhile, under the influence of an anticyclone aloft, the weather will improve and it will be very hot over southern China. An area of low pressure will bring unsettled weather to the seas east of the Philippines. It will move towards the vicinity of Luzon in the latter part of this week, and it may enter the South China Sea. However, its intensity and movement remain uncertain.
