Forecast for winter 2010/11 (December 2010 - February 2011)
for Hong Kong

Having considered the latest forecasts issued by major climate prediction centres around the world, including forecasts generated by the Global-Regional Climate Model operated in-house, and the statistical relationship between La Niņa and the winter climate of Hong Kong in recent decades, the Observatory expects that the temperature and rainfall of Hong Kong this winter (December 2010-February 2011) are likely to be near normal.
