At noon at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 29 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 71 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 2. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

Tropical cyclone Linfa is gradually moving towards the southern part of Taiwan. As weak steering flow is expected over the region in the next couple of days, there will be uncertainties in the moving track of Linfa. The Observatory will continue to monitor closely the movement of Linfa and its impact on local weather.
