At 6 p.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 28 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 82 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 0.5. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

The monsoon depression now over the northern part of the South China Sea is bringing unsettled weather to the region. The convections near the centre of the monsoon depression are relatively weak and high winds are located at its periphery. It is expected to move north and edge closer to the coast of Guangdong. The weather of Hong Kong will become unsettled with squally showers tomorrow. Winds will be occasionally strong offshore and on high ground. The Observatory will monitor closely the development of the monsoon depression and its impact on local weather.
