Track and Positions of Tropical Cyclones
There is currently no tropical cyclone
located within the area bounded by 7-36N and 100-140E.*

For tropical cyclones located within the area bounded by 7-36N and 100-140E but
outside the area bounded by 10-30N and 105-125E,
their positions at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and 72-hour forecast tracks will be
made available on the Hong Kong Observatory's website at around noon
and midnight respectively.
(2)
Tropical cyclone warnings for shipping will be issued by the Observatory
for tropical cyclones located within the area bounded by 10-30N and 105-125E.
The forecast tracks for these tropical cyclones will be updated at
3-hourly intervals.
