The Ta Kwu Ling wind station is located inside the Ta Kwu Ling Farm at the northern part of the New Territories (please see the map below for the location of the wind station).   The station has rather good exposure as there are no high-rise buildings in its vicinity, and the high mountains are mostly located quite far away.  The station is generally well-exposed to winds from all directions.  The prevailing winds of the station are in general east to southeasterlies, as revealed in the annual wind rose for the station.
