Extension of scope of ISO 9001 certification for measurement service at the King's Park Meteorological Station

In the past few years, the Observatory obtained the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification for the upper-air meteorological observation, measurements of carbon dioxide concentration and solar radiation at the King's Park Meteorological Station. Recently, the Observatory successfully passed the re-certification audit of the King’s Park Meteorological Station conducted by the certification body, and extended the scope of certification to cover other meteorological measurements in the station, including UV radiation, sunshine duration, wet bulb globe temperature, grass temperature, soil temperature, evaporation and potential evapotranspiration. This certification reaffirms the high-quality meteorological measurement service provided by the Observatory.
