Update of “MyObservatory” on iOS and Android platforms

The Observatory launched an update of the “MyObservatory” app (iOS version 6.1, Android version 4.17) on 15 February 2020. In the new version, “Earth Weather” was enhanced with automatic sea state forecasts. On the new Android version, the “Location-based Rain Forecast” page is upgraded to “Location-based Rain and Lightning Forecast” to provide 1-hour lightning and 2-hour rain forecast. The notification function is also upgraded at the same time to provide lightning and rain forecast in a succinct graphical presentation.The "MyObservatory" is a free app. Users are welcome to download it at the following links (iOS, Android).
