360 Tour of the Observatory's Central Forecasting Office

Today (1 February 2021), the fourth stop of the 360 degree virtual tour finally reaches the core of the Observatory. It is also the place where meteorological personnel will face challenges of many kinds. Have a guess! Yes, it is the Central Forecasting Office located on the top floor of the Centenary Building. It is responsible for the issuance of weather reports, forecasts and warnings, and manned by weather forecasters, observers and supporting staff round-the-clock.
