Weather forecast for cities in Asia-Pacific region and mean sea-level pressure forecasts now available on “Earth Weather”

31 March 2021

The Observatory today (31 March 2021) enhanced the “Earth Weather” website to provide 3-hourly or 6-hourly forecasts of temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed and weather icons for the next nine days for 100 cities in the Asia-Pacific region. Automatically generated by a computer system, the new products cover major cities and tourist hotspots in the region, allowing users to get hold of weather changes in these places.

Furthermore, forecasts of mean sea-level pressure have also been added to the website for users to appreciate the evolution of large-scale weather systems in the next 9 days.

The address of the “Earth Weather” is https://maps.hko.gov.hk/wxviewer/index.html?lang=en. The new features will also be introduced on the “MyObservatory” app in upcoming updates.
