Easier Access to the Personalized Weather Website

To allow easier access to the personalized weather website (https://my.weather.gov.hk/) by the public, the Observatory today (15 July 2022) launch an updated version 5.0.5 of the "MyObservatory" Android app. A link to the personalized weather website is added in the menu (Figure 1).

The personalized weather website provides basic weather information, including latest weather reports, weather warnings, 9-day weather forecasts, tropical cyclone tracks, radar, satellite and lightning imageries etc., in eight ethnic minority languages, namely Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, Nepali, Urdu, Tagalog, Thai, Punjabi and Vietnamese (Figure 2).

The link to the personalized weather website will also be added in the iOS version of the “MyObservatory” in the following update.

The "MyObservatory" is a free app. Users are welcome to download at this link.
