"Cool Met Stuff": Aircraft icing – an aviation hazard?

When an airplane passes through cloud layers under certain conditions, ice may form and attach to the body of the aircraft, namely icing, which is an aviation hazard! Why does aircraft icing occur? How does the Observatory issue the Significant Weather Information (SIGMET) for icing? The new episode of "Cool Met Stuff" will introduce aircraft icing.
