"Cool Met Stuff": Weather forecast and artificial intelligence

In recent years, the technique in artificial intelligence (AI) became more mature in the application of weather forecast. The Observatory has introduced and begun real-time trial operation of various AI models. The latest episode of "Cool Met Stuff" will briefly introduce the different between two main types of weather models – AI based model and numerical weather prediction, along with how the Observatory makes weather prediction.
