    Six new names have been added to the list of tropical cyclone names in the western North Pacific and the South China Sea in 2021. Their meanings are as follows:

    Faxai Nongfa A lake in Lao PDR, meaning blue lake
    Hagibis Ragasa Rapid or fast motion

    Phanfone Nokaen A kind of bird, swallow
