“My Weather Observation” trial feature

A new version of the “MyObservatory” app was launched in July 2021, with a trial “My Weather Observation” feature to facilitate users to report weather phenomena including thunderstorms, hail, tornadoes, waterspouts, windy conditions, reduced visibility, frost/rime, rainbows, halos, and crepuscular rays. The functionality enables members of the Community Weather Observation Scheme (CWOS) Facebook group to share weather photos and video clips to the group and show them in “My Weather Observation”.
