Happy Business Visit to Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

15 May 2014

HKO colleagues visited the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change (MoCC) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 28 April 2014. The first of its kind in Hong Kong, the MoCC offers an interactive and multimedia exhibition showcasing the valuable collections, including specimen of plants and photos, gathered by renowned explorer Dr Rebecca LEE Lok-sze in the Himalaya, the South Pole and the North Pole.

Colleagues were guided by docents to visit various ecological attractions and green facilities on the CUHK campus, such as the Lake Ad Excellentiam, the solar energy garden near the swimming pool and the Yard for Environmental Sustainability. With such first-hand experience of the natural environment, the tour enabled us to appreciate the unique and delicate balance of nature and the need for sustainable green living.
