Yau Tsim Mong and Wong Tai Sin District Councils visited the Observatory

Yau Tsim Mong and Wong Tai Sin District Councils visited the Observatory on 15 and 23 February respectively, with a view to enhancing communication between the Observatory and the District Councils.

During the visits, Dr LEE Boon-ying, the Director briefed the councilors and the Home Affairs Department colleagues on the work of the Observatory. This was followed by a guided tour of the Central Forecasting Office, the Radiation Monitoring and Assessment Centre, the TV Studio, the Earthquake and Time Services Division and the History Room to enhance their understanding of the Observatory.
