Kowloon City District Council visited the Observatory

15 members of the Kowloon City District Council and District Office, headed by the Chairman of the District Council Dr. WONG Kwok-keung, SBS, JP, visited the Observatory on 9 September. Mr. SHUN Chi-ming, the Director, briefed the guests on the work of the Observatory. This was followed by a guided tour of the Forecasting Office, the Radiation Monitoring and Assessment Centre, the TV Studio, the Earthquake and Time Services Division and the History Room. The councilors were much impressed by the Observatory's application of science and technology in serving the public.
