CEO of Hong Kong Broadband Ltd shared his management experience with Observatory staff

Mr William Yeung, the Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Broadband Limited, shared with Observatory colleagues his experience and insight in customer and staff management as well as his beliefs in our management forum in June 2009.
Mr Yeung successfully leads his company into profit again after a couple of difficult years. This cannot be possible without the strong leadership of Mr Yeung. Mr Yeung talked on how he motivated his staff and enhanced the competitive edge of his team through engagement. He shared his insight in entrepreneurship and execution in the modern business world. The talk impressed the audience to relish and savour the interplay between leadership, management and care for his staff, clearly explained and illustrated by real life examples. The management style of a successful leader from the private sector certainly widened the horizon of our staff.
The management forum is a monthly gathering where speakers within and outside the Hong Kong Observatory share their insights and experience on management with fellow colleagues.
