Assistant Commissioner of Police speaking on "Leadership Development and Personal Development in HK Police"

20 July 2009

Mr. Robin Shu-chun TSE, Assistant Commissioner of Police, shared with Observatory colleagues on 16 July 2009 his experience and insight in training and management in our monthly management forum.

Mr. Tse took charge of Force training between 2005 and 2008. He transformed the Police Training Wing into the Police College and became the first Director of the Police College. He was the linchpin in professionalizing Police Training from foundation training for recruits up to management and leadership development training for senior officers in the Force. Mr. Tse's lecture covered key areas in leadership development and personal development in Hong Kong Police Force, and more importantly the valuable training experience of the police force. The lecture provided food for thought on the future development in training and management of the Observatory.
