Chief Systems Manager of OGCIO speaking on knowledge management and change management

22 June 2011

The Observatory holds a management forum regularly, occasionally inviting professionals from different sectors to share their insight and experience with Observatory colleagues.

The speaker on 17 June was Mr. KWONG Kam-keung, Dominic, the Chief Systems Manager of the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO). He elaborated on his experience on knowledge management and related programme in OGCIO. Since 2003, OGCIO has established over ten Communities of Practice to foster knowledge sharing culture among colleagues and to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration through the use of information technology.

The talk enlightened us on how to handle knowledge and change management. It helps stimulate new thinking on these subjects within the Observatory.
