Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. An easterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. At 2 a.m., Severe Tropical Storm Jangmi was centred about 1110 kilometres south-southeast of Okinawa. It is forecast to move northwest at about 18 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific to the east of the Philippines and intensify gradually. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with a few showers. More showers with a few thunderstorms later. Temperatures will range between 27 and 31 degrees. Moderate east to northeasterly winds. Outlook : Sunny periods and a few showers in the following couple of days. Very hot midweek next week.
