Warnings:
Severe squally thunderstorms in Hong Kong adjacent waters,
Shanwei, south of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao. Strong winds
in all areas.
Weather Situation:
A trough of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to
the south China coastal waters. Meanwhile, severe squally
thunderstorms are affecting the coastal waters of Guangdong.
Area forecasts for the next 24 hours
Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
East to southeast force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6, gusts
occasionally up to force 10 at first.
Scattered heavy showers and severe squally thunderstorms.
Rough seas.
Nan'ao:
South force 4 to 5, up to force 6 later.
Scattered heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas, becoming rough later.
Shanwei:
South force 4 to 5, up to force 6 later, gusts occasionally
up to force 10 at first.
Scattered heavy showers and severe squally thunderstorms.
Rough seas.
South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
South force 4 to 5, becoming up to force 6, gusts
occasionally up to force 10 at first.
Scattered heavy showers and severe squally thunderstorms.
