Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. An anticyclone aloft is bringing very hot weather to southern China. Meanwhile, a broad trough of low pressure is bringing showers to the central and northern parts of the South China Sea. It is edging closer to the coastal areas gradually. At noon, Tropical Storm Nakri was centred about 1280 kilometres southwest of Tokyo. It is forecast to move north-northeast at about 15 kilometres per hour across the seas south of Japan. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Very hot with sunny periods in the afternoon. Mainly cloudy tonight. Isolated showers. Moderate easterly winds. Outlook : A few showers in the next couple of days. The weather will improve in the middle and latter parts of next week.
