Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure is bringing thundery showers to Guangdong. The trough of low pressure is expected to edge closer to the coastal areas gradually. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Mainly cloudy with a few showers. More showers with a few squally thunderstorms later. Moderate to fresh southerly winds, occasionally strong on high ground. Outlook : Slightly cooler with sunny intervals in the next couple of days. Still a few showers. The weather will be persistently unsettled and there will be occasional showers and squally thunderstorms during the Easter holidays and Ching Ming Festival.
