Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. The northeast monsoon affected the coast of Guangdong yesterday, and the band of clouds covering the region thinned out during the day. Locally, there were cloudy periods in the morning and at night yesterday. It was mainly fine and dry during the day. The relative humidity over most parts of the territory fell to around 50 per cent in the afternoon. Under the persistent influence of the northeast monsoon, the weather will remain relatively cool and windy in the morning over the coast of Guangdong today. With the monsoon moderating, it will be warm during the day over Guangdong tomorrow and over the weekend. Weather forecast for Hong Kong Mainly cloudy. One or two light rain patches at first. The minimum temperature in the morning will be about 18 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 22 degrees. Moderate to fresh east to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground at first. Outlook : Sunny periods on Friday and over the weekend, warm during the day. Mainly cloudy early next week.
