9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The northeast monsoon will continue to affect the coast of Guangdong today. A band of clouds will also bring one or two rain patches to the region. A replenishment of the monsoon will reach the coast of Guangdong at first tomorrow. It will be slightly cooler in the morning over the region in the middle and latter parts of this week. With the band of clouds covering southern China thinning out gradually, the weather will be fine and dry over the region during the weekend and early next week. The temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Koto will move towards the vicinity of the southern part of Vietnam and weaken gradually today and tomorrow. On the other hand, the broad area of low pressure now near Guam is expected to develop slightly in the next couple of days, and move towards the vicinity of the Philippines during the weekend.
