9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the influence of a broad trough of low pressure and upper-air disturbances, there will be showers and thunderstorms over the coast of Guangdong today. The upper-air disturbances will depart in the next couple of days. An anticyclone aloft is expected to cover southeastern China in the middle and latter parts of this week, but meanwhile the broad trough of low pressure will still linger over the northern part of the South China Sea and bring a few showers to the coast of Guangdong. Besides, the area of low pressure now over the seas east of the Philippines is bringing unsettled weather to the region. There are uncertainties in its subsequent development and movement.
