9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A replenishment of the northeast monsoon will reach the coast of Guangdong at first tomorrow. It will be slightly cooler in the morning over the region in the following couple of days. The band of clouds covering southern China will thin out gradually. Under the influence of a dry northeast monsoon, the weather will be generally fine over southern China during the weekend to early next week. The temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Koto will dissipate gradually over the central to southern part of the South China Sea today and tomorrow. On the other hand, the broad area of low pressure now to the north of Yap is expected to develop gradually and move towards the vicinity of the Philippines in the next few days.
