9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An active southerly airstream and upper-air disturbances will continue to bring showers and squally thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong tomorrow. Tropical Cyclone Bavi over the western North Pacific will move towards the seas east of Taiwan in the next couple of days, and then edge closer to the coast of eastern China. Under the influence of its outer subsiding air, showers will ease off and the weather will become fine over southern China towards the weekend. It will be extremely hot over Guangdong on Friday and Saturday. Showers may also be triggered by high temperatures. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms to the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of southern China early next week.
