9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An area of low pressure over the broad trough of low pressure over the northern part of the South China Sea will develop gradually, and will edge closer to the coast of Guangdong tomorrow. There will be heavy showers, thunderstorms and squalls over the region in the next couple of days. An active southwesterly airstream is expected to affect the coast of Guangdong in the latter part of this week to early next week. There will be sunny intervals, showers and thunderstorms over the region. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Bavi will move across the vicinity of eastern China to the Yellow Sea today and tomorrow. It will then transform into an extratropical cyclone gradually. Tropical Cyclone Haishen will move across the western North Pacific in the next couple of days.
