9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: With the easterly airstream now affecting the coast of Guangdong moderating gradually and under the influence of an anticyclone aloft, the weather will be mainly fine and dry over southern China in the next couple of days. It will become very hot. The northeast monsoon is expected to affect southern China midweek this week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Champi will move across the seas east of Luzon in the next couple of days. However, there are uncertainties in its subsequent movement. It will have a chance to move towards the coast of southeastern China. It will also have a chance to turn northwards and move towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands to the East China Sea.
