9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The subtropical ridge will continue to bring generally fine and very hot weather to Guangdong tomorrow. Under the influence of an upper-air disturbance, there will be showers and thunderstorms over the coast of Guangdong early next week. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to bring unsettled weather to the central and northern parts of the South China Sea early to midweek next week. An area of low pressure may develop within the trough of low pressure. With the low pressure system moving northwards and edging closer to the coast of southern China in the latter part of next week, the weather will be unsettled with more showers and squally thunderstorms over the region.
