South China Coastal Waters

Warnings:
Strong winds in Nan'ao and Shanwei.

Weather Situation:
An easterly airstream is affecting the south China coastal
waters. Besides, the area of low pressure near Luzon is
intensifying gradually, a tropical cyclone appears to be
forming.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
East force 4 to 5.
Scattered showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.

Nan'ao and Shanwei:
East force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6.
Scattered showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
East force 4 to 5.
Scattered showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.

Outlook for the following 48 hours 
East to northeasterly winds of force 4 to 5, up to force 6
in east, becoming northerly winds of up to force 6 later.
Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
