Weather Situation:
A southerly airstream is affecting the coastal waters of
Guangdong. Besides, a trough of low pressure is expected to
edge closer to the south China coastal waters today.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
South to southwest force 4 to 5.
Scattered heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.

Nan'ao and Shanwei:
South to southwest force 4, occasionally force 5.
Scattered showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.

South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
South to southwest force 4 to 5.
Scattered showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.

Outlook for the following 48 hours 
Southerly winds of force 4 to 5, becoming easterly winds of
up to force 7. Scattered heavy showers and squally
thunderstorms.
