Tropical Cyclone Podul will move across inland Guangdong and weaken progressively tomorrow (14 August), but will also be relatively closer to the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary at the same time. Locally, there will be heavy squally showers and thunderstorms tomorrow. Showers will be more frequent in some areas at first. Members of the public are advised to take note of the latest weather information and warnings issued by the Observatory tomorrow morning, consider road conditions before leaving home, and be on the alert for possible danger brought by heavy rain.
