Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. An anticyclone aloft is covering the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, a southerly airstream is affecting the region. At 2 a.m., the tropical depression over the East China Sea was centred about 190 kilometres west of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move northeast at about 12 kilometres per hour across the seas west of Kyushu of Japan and weaken gradually. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with one or two showers. The minimum temperature will be about 27 degrees in the morning. Sunny periods during the day with a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees. Light to moderate southerly winds. Outlook : Mainly fine and very hot during the day in the following couple of days. The weather will become unsettled later on Saturday. Windy with a few squally showers on Sunday. There will be swells. Still showery early next week.
