Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong
Observatory.

A broad trough of low pressure is bringing showers and
thunderstorms to the northern part of the South China Sea
and the coast of Guangdong.

At noon, Tropical Storm Narra was centred about 280
kilometres west-northwest of Haikou. It is forecast to be
slow-moving, lingering over the vicinity of Beibu Wan.
Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Gaenari was centred about 100
kilometres north of Taibei. It is forecast to move
west-southwest at about 12 kilometres per hour towards the
vicinity of Taiwan Strait and dissipate gradually. The
tropical depression near Yap was centred about 510
kilometres northwest of Yap. It is forecast to move
northeast at about 15 kilometres per hour across the western
North Pacific.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Very hot with sunny intervals in the afternoon. Moderate
southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Showers will increase with squally thunderstorms
in the next couple of days. It will be windier in some
areas. Becoming very hot in the latter part of this week.
