Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A broad area of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to the northern part of the South China Sea. Meanwhile, under its combined effect with a ridge of high pressure over southeastern China, the weather is windier with showers over the coast of Guangdong. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with a few showers. A few squally thunderstorms at first. The minimum temperature will be about 28 degrees in the morning. Sunny intervals during the day with a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Fresh easterly winds, strong offshore and on high ground. Outlook : Windier with a few showers on Thursday. The weather will become unsettled towards the weekend.
