Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. The northeast monsoon is bringing cooler weather to Guangdong. Locally, temperatures over the territory around noon were generally seven to nine degrees lower than those of yesterday. Besides, a band of clouds is covering southern China. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Mainly cloudy. One or two light rain patches at first with rather low visibility in some areas. Moderate to fresh east to northeasterly winds. Outlook : Cool in the morning with sunny intervals during the day on the second and third days of Lunar New Year. Warm during the day in the following couple of days.
