Warnings:
Strong winds in all areas.

Weather Situation:
At 11 p.m., Tropical Storm Wutip with maximum sustained
winds of about 90 kilometres per hour near its centre was
located at 17.4 degrees north, 109.3 degrees east. It is
forecast to move northwest at about 10 kilometres per hour
in the general direction of the western part of Hainan
Island and skirt the region. It will then move towards Beibu
Wan to Leizhou Peninsula.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
East to southeast force 5 to 6.
Occasional heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Nan'ao and Shanwei:
South to southeast force 5 to 6.
Scattered squally showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

South of Hong Kong:
South to southeast force 5 to 6, occasionally force 7.
Occasional heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Shangchuan Dao:
South to southeast force 6 to 7.
Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Rough seas.

Outlook for the following 48 hours 
South to southwesterly winds of force 6 to 7. Frequent heavy
squally showers and thunderstorms.
