Warnings:
Severe squally thunderstorms in Hong Kong adjacent waters.
Strong winds in all areas.

Weather Situation:
Unsettled weather associated with the southwest monsoon and
a trough of low pressure is affecting the coastal waters of
Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea.
Meanwhile, severe squally thunderstorms are affecting the
adjacent waters of Hong Kong.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
South to southwest force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6, gusts
occasionally up to force 11 at first.
Occasional heavy showers and severe squally thunderstorms.
Rough seas.

Nan'ao, Shanwei, South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
South to southwest force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6.
Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for the following 48 hours 
South to southwesterly winds of force 4 to 5, occasionally
force 6. Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
