Weather Situation: The southwest monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters. Tropical Storm Gaemi has weakened into a tropical depression. At 4 p.m., Gaemi with maximum sustained winds of about 55 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 29.8 degrees north, 115.5 degrees east. It is forecast to move northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour across Hubei and weaken further.
