Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a trough of low pressure are affecting the coast of Guangdong. Locally, more than 10 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over Tuen Mun, Tsuen Wan and the western part of Hong Kong Island this morning. Besides, an easterly airstream is affecting the coast of eastern Guangdong. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Mainly cloudy with showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavy at times in some areas at first. Moderate easterly winds, strengthening gradually tonight. Outlook : Still a few showers tomorrow and on Tuen Ng Festival. It will be windy. Hot with sunny periods and a few showers early next week.
