9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the influence of an anticyclone aloft, the weather will be mainly fine over southern China in the next couple of days. It will be very hot during the day. Meanwhile, a broad area of low pressure will bring unsettled weather to the seas near Luzon. The area of low pressure is expected to develop over the central part of the South China Sea in the next couple of days. It has a higher chance of moving towards Hainan Island to the vicinity of western Guangdong in the latter part of this week, but there are still relatively large uncertainties. The chance of it moving towards eastern Guangdong, Fujian to the vicinity of Taiwan cannot be ruled out. With the anticyclone aloft weakening, it will be cloudier with more showers over Guangdong in the latter part of this week. High temperature weather will slightly moderate.
