Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A trough of low pressure brought showers to the coast of Guangdong today. An easterly airstream also affected the coast of eastern Guangdong gradually. Locally, it was mainly cloudy with one or two showers. The trough of low pressure is expected to affect Guangdong persistently in the next few days. There will be heavy showers and squally thunderstorms over the region. Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Thursday, 25 Apr 2024) Cloudy with occasional showers. Showers will be heavier at times with squally thunderstorms. Temperatures will range between 24 and 28 degrees. Moderate east to southeasterly winds, becoming moderate to fresh southerlies. Outlook : Showers will be heavier at times on Friday. There will still be showers and thunderstorms over the weekend.
