Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A broad band of clouds covered the coast of southern China and the northern part of the South China Sea yesterday. The northeast monsoon also affected the region. Locally, it was mainly cloudy with one or two light rain patches. The broad band of clouds will continue to bring a few rain patches to the northern part of the South China Sea today. A fresh to strong easterly airstream will reach the coast of Guangdong later today. It will be windy over the region in the next couple of days. Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Tuesday, 28 Oct 2025) Mainly cloudy. One or two rain patches in the morning and at night. The minimum temperature will be about 22 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Bright periods during the day with a maximum temperature of around 25 degrees. Moderate north to northeasterly winds. Becoming fresh easterlies later, occasionally strong offshore. Outlook : Windy with sunny intervals on Chung Yeung Festival and Thursday. Hot during the day on Friday. Temperatures will fall slightly over the weekend.
