Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong
Observatory.

The outer subsiding air of Severe Typhoon Bavi is bringing
mainly fine weather to Guangdong.

At 8 p.m., Bavi was centred about 530 kilometres
east-southeast of Taibei. It is forecast to move northwest
at about 26 kilometres per hour across the seas east of
Taiwan, and then move towards the vicinity of southern
Zhejiang to northern Fujian.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly fine. The minimum temperature will be about 28
degrees tomorrow morning. Extremely hot during the day with
a maximum temperature of around 35 degrees in the urban
areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New
Territories. Isolated showers later. Light winds, becoming
moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds later
tomorrow. There will be swells at first.

Outlook : Extremely hot in some areas and one or two showers
on Sunday, windier offshore at first. The weather will
become unsettled in the following couple of days.
