Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A southerly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, an anticyclone aloft is covering the region and the northern part of the South China Sea. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with isolated showers. The minimum temperature will be about 27 degrees in the morning. Hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Moderate south to southwesterly winds, fresh on high ground. Outlook : Hot during the day apart from isolated showers on Sunday. Mainly fine and becoming very hot in the following couple of days.
