Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A broad area of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to the northern part of the South China Sea. Meanwhile, under its combined effect with a ridge of high pressure over southeastern China, the weather is windier with showers over the coast of Guangdong. Weather forecast for today Sunny periods and one or two showers. Hot during the day with a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Fresh easterly winds, strong offshore and on high ground. Outlook : Windier with a few showers tomorrow. The weather will become unsettled towards the weekend.
