Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A southwesterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with one or two showers. Very hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 34 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Moderate southwesterly winds, occasionally fresh offshore at first. Outlook : More showers in some areas with squally thunderstorms tomorrow. Sunny intervals and a few showers over the weekend to early next week.
