Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong
Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is affecting southern China.
Meanwhile, there are showers and thunderstorms over the
northern part of the South China Sea.

Besides, the area of low pressure over the central part of
the South China Sea has intensified into a tropical
depression. At noon, the tropical depression was centred
about 210 kilometres east-southeast of Da Nang. It is
forecast to move northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour
across the seas south of Hainan Island.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Sunny periods in the afternoon. Becoming cloudy with a few
showers and thunderstorms later. Moderate to fresh east to
northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on
high ground later. There will be swells.

Outlook : Windy at first tomorrow, and showers will be
heavier in some areas. The weather will improve gradually in
the following couple of days. Still a few showers in the
morning and at night.
