Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Under the infleunce of the outer subsiding air of Tropical Cyclone Dolphin, the weather is generally fine over Guangdong. Severe Tropical Storm Dolphin has weakened into a tropical storm. At 5 a.m., Dolphin was centred about 110 kilometres west-southwest of Wenzhou. It is forecast to move northwest at about 22 kilometres per hour inland over eastern China and weaken gradually. Weather forecast for today Mainly fine. Extremely hot during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 36 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Moderate west to northwesterly winds, fresh on high ground at first. Outlook : Still extremely hot tomorrow. High temperature weather will continue in the following couple of days. A few showers in the latter part of this week. High temperature weather will be alleviated slightly.
