Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A broad trough of low pressure is bringing showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Besides, the remnant of Saudel is bringing unsettled weather to the vicinity of Leizhou Peninsula to Hainan Island. It is expected to move towards the vicinity of the southeastern coast of Hainan Island later today and intensify into a tropical cyclone gradually. An area of low pressure over the western North Pacific to the east of the Philippines is intensifying gradually. Another tropical cyclone appears to be forming. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with a few showers. Bright periods in the morning. The maximum temperature will be around 31 degrees during the day. More showers in some areas with squally thunderstorms later. Light to moderate northerly winds. Outlook : More showers in some areas tomorrow, windier later tomorrow to Wednesday. Showers will ease off in the latter part of this week.
