Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad trough of low pressure and a southwesterly airstream are affecting the coast of Guangdong. Typhoon Saudel has made landfall over Yuhuan, Zhejiang. At 9 a.m., Saudel was centred about 60 kilometres east-northeast of Wenzhou. It is forecast to move west at about 22 kilometres per hour across southern Zhejiang and move inland. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with a few showers and squally thunderstorms. More showers in some areas at first. Hot with sunny intervals in the afternoon. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees. Moderate west to southwesterly winds. Outlook : There will still be a few showers tomorrow and very hot during the day. The weather will be unsettled on Sunday. Showers will ease off gradually and the weather will improve early to midweek next week.
