Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Showers and thunderstorms associated with upper-air disturbances are affecting the coast of Guangdong. Besides, the trough of low pressure now over inland Guangdong will edge closer to the coastal areas tonight. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavy at times. Moderate to fresh south to southwesterly winds, occasionally strong on high ground at first. Outlook : Occasional showers in the next couple of days. Showers will be heavy in some areas and winds will strengthen gradually. Windier and the weather will remain unsettled on Sunday and Monday. Showers will ease off gradually in the following couple of days.
