9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: With the upper-air disturbance departing, showers will ease off gradually over southern China tomorrow. Tropical Cyclone Bavi will move towards the seas east of Taiwan in the next couple of days, and then edge closer to the coast of eastern China. Under the influence of its outer subsiding air, the weather will be mainly fine and extremely hot over Guangdong on Friday and Saturday. Showers may also be triggered by high temperatures. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms to the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of southern China early to midweek next week.
