9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A broad trough of low pressure and an active southwesterly airstream will bring heavy showers and squally thunderstorms to the coast of southern China today and tomorrow. With the trough of low pressure departing from the coastal areas, showers will ease off gradually over Guangdong midweek this week. Under the influence of an easterly airstream, the weather will be brighter over the coast of Guangdong in the middle and latter parts of this week, but there will still be a few showers. The easterly airstream is expected to be replaced by a southerly airstream during the weekend to early next week. The weather will become unsettled over southern China.
