9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An area of low pressure over the northern part of the South China Sea will develop slightly and move across Hainan Island tomorrow. Under its combined effect with the ridge of high pressure over the coast of southeastern China, it will be windier with showers over the coast of Guangdong. There are relatively large uncertainties in the movement of the area of low pressure after moving across Hainan Island. It may move northwards edging closer to the vicinity of Beibu Wan to Leizhou Peninsula towards the weekend. There is also a chance of recurving to the east and edging closer to the coast of Guangdong. Besides, the area of low pressure to the east of Taiwan will move in the general direction of the vicinity of Fujian to Zhejiang in the next couple of days. With the whole low pressure system edging closer to the vicinity of the coast of southeastern China to southern China, the weather over the region will be unsettled during the weekend to early next week.
