9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The anticyclone aloft will weaken today, while upper-air disturbances will bring showers and thunderstorms to Guangdong. An easterly airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong today and tomorrow. High temperature weather will be alleviated. With the easterly airstream being replaced by a southerly airstream early next week, the weather over the coastal areas will be very hot again midweek next week. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to bring unsettled weather to the central part of the South China Sea, and it will edge closer to the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of southern China in the latter part of next week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Jangmi will intensify gradually in the next couple of days, and move in the general direction of the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands.
