9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The northeast monsoon will persist over southern China for the rest of this week to midweek next week. The weather will be fine and the temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over Guangdong tomorrow. A broad area of low pressure will develop gradually over the central part of the South China Sea during the weekend, and move in the general direction of the vicinity of the seas south of Hainan Island. Under the combined effect of the northeast monsoon and the low-pressure system, it will be windier with occasional showers and squally thunderstorms over the coast of Guangdong. There will be swells.
