9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The subtropical ridge will cover the coast of southeastern China, showers will ease off and the weather will become very hot over Guangdong in the next couple of days. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to affect the central and northern parts of the South China Sea midweek this week. An area of low pressure may be present over the broad trough of low pressure, and move in the general direction of the vicinity of western Guangdong to Hainan Island. Under the combined effect of the area of low pressure and a ridge of high pressure over southeastern China, it will be windier and the weather will be unsettled over the coast of Guangdong during the weekend.
