9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the influence of a fresh easterly airstream, it will be windier with one or two rain patches over the coast of Guangdong tomorrow and at first on the Chung Yeung Festival. With an anticyclone aloft strengthening, the weather will be mainly fine and dry over the coast of southern China early to midweek next week. It will become very hot over inland areas. The northeast monsoon is expected to affect southern China in the latter part of next week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Champi will intensify gradually and move across the vicinity of Guam in the next couple of days. It will move towards the seas east of Luzon early to midweek next week. However, there are uncertainties in its subsequent movement, with a higher chance turning northwards crossing the seas east of Taiwan.
