9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the influence of a broad trough of low pressure, there will be occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over southern China in the next couple of days. A strong easterly airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong during the weekend. With the easterly airstream being replaced by a humid southerly airstream early next week, it will be warm during the day and there will still be a few showers over the coast of southern China. The northeast monsoon and its replenishments are expected to bring a few rain patches to southern China in the middle to latter parts of next week. It will be slightly cooler over the region.
