9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the influence of a broad trough of low pressure, showers will be heavy at times with squally thunderstorms over the coast of southern China in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, the area of low pressure over the seas east of the Philippines may develop and move towards Luzon. It will linger in the vicinity of Luzon in the following couple of days. The broad trough of low pressure is expected to weaken gradually midweek next week. The weather will be brighter over the coast of Guangdong, but there will still be a few showers. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Dolphin now over the western North Pacific will move towards the seas south of Japan in the next few days. However, its subsequent movement remains uncertain, with a higher chance of edging closer to the vicinity of the East China Sea in the latter part of next week.
