9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Showers and squally thunderstorms associated with upper-air disturbances and a southwesterly airstream will affect southern China in the next couple of days. With the upper-air disturbances departing, it will be very hot during the day over the coast of Guangdong early next week, but there will still be a few showers. Meanwhile, a broad trough of low pressure will affect the northern part of the South China Sea to the seas east of Taiwan, and will edge closer to the coast of Guangdong gradually in the middle and latter parts of next week.
