Warnings:
Storm force winds in Shangchuan Dao. Strong winds in Hong
Kong adjacent waters, Nan'ao, Shanwei and south of Hong
Kong.

Weather Situation:
At noon, Tropical Storm Kajiki with maximum sustained winds
of about 85 kilometres per hour near its centre was located
at 17.4 degrees north, 115.6 degrees east. It is forecast to
move west at about 25 kilometres per hour in the general
direction of the seas south of Hainan Island.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
East to northeast force 4 to 5, becoming up to force 6.
Occasional squally showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate seas, becoming rough.

Nan'ao and Shanwei:
East to northeast force 5 to 6, becoming southeast up to
force 7.
Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

South of Hong Kong:
North to northeast force 5 to 6, becoming east up to force
7.
Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Shangchuan Dao:
North to northeast force 5 to 6, becoming east up to force
10 later.
Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas, becoming high later.

Outlook for the following 48 hours 
East to southeasterly winds of force 6 to 7, becoming
cyclonic winds of up to force 12 in west. Frequent heavy
squally showers and thunderstorms.
